DAMASCUS, April 10 (Xinhua) -- A car bomb went off in a pro-government district of Syria's central city of Homs on Friday, killing a child and injuring nine people, according to Syria's national TV.
The booby-trapped car exploded at the predominantly Christian neighborhood of Araman in Homs, said the report, spelling no further details. The same district has repeatedly been hit by car bombs, which had killed many people and left property losses during the country's long-running conflict.
