Rome, May 5 (RHC)-- The aid group Save the Children has reported dozens of migrants have drowned in the Mediterranean Sea after their boat sank.
More than 1,750 people from Africa and the Middle East have died so far this year trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe.
Italy says it has rescued thousands of people in recent days from several boats floundering in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
