Windhoek, October 19 (RHC)-- Namibian President Hage Geingob met Thursday in Windhoek with the President of Cuba's top court –the People's Supreme Tribunal-- Rubén Remigio Ferro, who is paying an official visit to the African nation.

The Namibian head of state and the Cuban top legal authority exchanged on bilateral friendship and cooperation relations.

Ferro thanked the Namibian head of state for the African nation's traditional support for Cuba at international forums against Washington's nearly six-decades old blockade policy.

During his official Namibia visit, the president of the Cuban top court toured places of historical and cultural interest, including the Heroes' Acre - an official war memorial of the Republic of Namibia--, and the Independence Memorial Museum -- a historical museum in the capital, Windhoek, dedicated to the country's anti-colonial and independence struggle.
