Seattle, October 21 (RHC/Prensa Latina)- The U.S. city of Seattle, in the state of Washington, is hosting this weekend the annual conference of the National Network on Cuba.

Members of the solidarity with Cuba network will be discussing Saturday and Sunday new strategies and work projects for 2018.

Most events during the conference will take place at premises of state of Washington's Labor Council, including a panel on changes introduced by the Donald Trump administration that further restrain Americans traveling to Cuba, said Alicia Jrapko, one of the network's coordinators.

Jrapko said meetings of the National Network on Cuba were usually held in Washington DC or New York, but that over the past few years, other cities where there are Cuba solidarity organizations have requested to host the event.

This annual meeting of the network is organized by the Seattle/Cuba Friendship Committee and the U.S. Women and Cuba Collaboration.

Among the groups making up the U.S.'s National Network on Cuba are the New York-based Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization/Pastors for Peace, the DC Metro Coalition in Solidarity with the Cuban Revolution, the New York Solidarity with Cuba Organization, the Boston 26 of July Coalition, and the Pittsburgh-Matanzas Sister City Association.
