Havana, April 18 (RHC)-- The People's Power National Assembly of Cuba (Parliament) called on Tuesday for a Twitter campaign on April 18 and 19 on the inauguration of its 9th legislature.

In this way, the Cuban Parliament invites all citizens with profiles in social media to share with the world what is going to happen during those days, when the leadership of that body and the members of the Council of State will be elected.

On its website, the Cuban National Assembly also called on Internet users to post the reasons why we will be the followers of our leaders' legacy.

The hashtags for the Twitter campaign will be #Wearecontinuity and #ForCuba, and as an alternative, it can be used #VictoryOfGiron and #WeMakeCuba.

The inauguration of the 9th Legislature of the People's Power National Assembly will take place in the context of the 57th anniversary of the victory in Playa Giron over an armed counterrevolutionary brigade trained by the U.S. Government.
