Havana, June 5 (RHC)-- Several commercial collaboration agreements between Cuba and Vietnam were signed on Monday during a business forum held in the Cuban capital.
The accords on tourism, investments and imports were signed in the context of the visit to Cuba by Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the Popular Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the forum, Thanh Phong said that progress on political ties and economic cooperation is inspired and based on the legacy of Fidel Castro and Ho Chi Minh.
Orlando Hernández, president of the island´s Chamber of Commerce, highlighted Viet Nam´s involvement in Cuba and noted that from 80 projects of foreign investment reported so far this year, Hanoi is among the main investors from Asia.
The Business Forum concluded with an exhibition of Vietnamese products.
