Paris, May 3, (RHC), -- The French Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and Tourism Promotion, Fleur Pellerin, arrived today in Cuba for a three day visit until May 6, to strengthen economic and trade links between the two countries.
Pellerin will open the Havana International Tourism Fair, in which France participates this year as guest of honor.
For French companies, there is a great development potential in the Smokeless Industry in this country, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visitor will meet with his peers of foreign trade and tourism, as well as a delegation from French companies established or with projects in the Caribbean nation, and pay particular attention to the health sector, states the text.
This visit will continue the one carried out last April 12 to Havana by Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, first trip of a minister of that level to this country in the last three decades.
