Cardenas, August 15 (RHC)-- The young Elián González, for whose return to Cuba 20 years ago all our people fought, has received the membership card of the Communist Party of Cuba.
In an event held in his hometown of Cardenas, Matanzas province, in tribute to the 94th anniversary of Fidel Castro's birth, the industrial engineering graduate received his recognition as a member of the Party.
On his Facebook page, Elián showed his joy at becoming a member of the Communist party, at the age of 26.
