Havana, June 23 (RHC)-- ExpoCaribe, Cuba's second most important trade fair, opens this Thursday at the Heredia cultural complex in the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba, with a special dedication to the half-century of Cuba-CARICOM relations.
The event's program includes a session of panels to be held at the Antonio Maceo Revolution Square.
The panels will discuss flagship products of the eastern provinces, transformations in the economy, new players and the productive chain, production of medicines and vaccines, and multi-destination tourism in the region.
In the event, which will run until Sunday, representatives of more than twenty nations will showcase various products and services. Some 200 stands will feature the proposals of some 260 entities, national and from countries in Europe, Asia, America, and, of course, the Caribbean.
According to ExpoCaribe organizers, the recovery of this event of Santiago tradition offers national and foreign entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their offers and assess the availability of products, services, and new technologies.
