Cuba rejects the imposition of U.S. sanctions against Iran

Havana, Oct 24 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez condemned Monday the imposition of unilateral U.S. sanctions against Iran and attempts to subvert the internal order of the Persian nation.

Through his Twitter account, the foreign minister expressed that the island maintains its rejection "of interference in the internal affairs of other states and the manipulation of human rights for political purposes".

Senior Iranian commanders recently warned the United States and Israel that they will respond to any threat or invasion attempt to stop or hinder the progress of the Persian nation.

Iran's Army Commander-in-Chief Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi denounced that Washington, Tel Aviv, and their allies are trying to implement a hybrid war against this country.

"The sworn enemies of this nation, headed by the criminal government of the United States and the fake Zionist regime abuse people's emotions and some weak points of the country and incite their mercenaries to commit acts of chaos and create insecurity," he said. (Source: PL)
