Ricardo Cabrisas met with the Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines.
Algiers, Dec 14 (RHC) In the framework of his working visit to Algeria, Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Mohamed Arkab, Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines, in the presence of his Cuban counterpart, Vicente de la O Levy, head of MINEM, the members of the delegation and the Cuban Ambassador to that nation.
Both parties referred to the excellent and historic relations between the two nations, which this year celebrated their 60th anniversary, and discussed bilateral cooperation and the prospects for its strengthening in the fields of electricity generation, hydrocarbons, renewable energy, and mining, among others. They also exchanged on the modalities for implementing the cooperation actions agreed upon during the recent visit to Algeria of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez during the talks held with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The executives and experts from both Ministries of Energy and Mines held technical meetings for the implementation of the agreed cooperation actions, which confirm the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity that unite Cubans and Algerians.
As part of the meetings with the Algerian authorities, the Cuban Deputy Prime Minister, also held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Brahim Djamel Kessali, Algerian Minister of Finance.
