Beirut, Feb 25 (RHC) Jorge León, Cuban ambassador in Lebanon, on Friday reaffirmed his country's support for the Palestinian people.

Upon welcoming Ahmed Abdel-Hadi, a representative of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), León stressed Palestinians´ legitimate right to defend their land.

The Cuban diplomat praised the resistance of fighters and martyrs in the defense of a just cause.

According to a statement issued by the Hamas media office, Abdel-Hadi strongly condemned the Israeli massacre in the city of Nablus, resulting in 11 deaths and dozens of wounded.

Abdel-Hadi stated the Palestinian people and their resistance will defeat the Zionist entity’s plans and condemned the violations in the West Bank and Jerusalem. (Source: Prensa Latina)
