President of the Cuban Parliament receives his Vietnamese counterpart
Havana, April 20 (RHC) - The president of the Cuban Parliament, Esteban Lazo, this Thursday received Vuong Dinh Hue, member of Vietnam’s Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and president of the National Assembly.
In the National Capitol, with all the honors corresponding to their position and to the brotherhood between both peoples, leaders of the National Assembly of People's Power welcomed the guest and the delegation accompanying him on this official visit.
The day before, Vuong participated in the first extraordinary session of the island's Parliament in its 10th Legislature, dedicated to the 62nd anniversary of the victory at Playa Girón.
On that occasion, he highlighted his affection and admiration for Cubans and reaffirmed his country's commitment to continue supporting the Cuban cause on international stages, as well as to increase cooperation and strengthen ties of friendship. (Source: Prensa Latina)
