Havana, July 4 (RHC)-- A workshop dedicated to social representations on the socialist ideal of students and professors in Cuban higher education begins today in this capital, until next July 6.

Organized by the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education (MES) in conjunction with the Cuban Workers' Central, the meeting will offer the results obtained in research on the subject in different universities in the country and in different periods.

There will also be a panoramic intervention on the ideological-educational work developed in university centers in the field of the socialist ideal-revolutionary practice relationship, according to information disclosed by the MES.

Teachers of the Marxism-Leninism specialty of the Ministry of Higher Education will participate in the meeting, and the implementation of Study Plan E, which reduces the time of some university careers to four years, will be discussed in depth.
