Cuba thanks Bolivian foreign minister's message for national date
Havana, Jul 29 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez thanked his Bolivian counterpart, Rogelio Mayta, for his words on the island's National Rebellion Day, celebrated on July 26.
The Minister of Foreign Relations of the Caribbean nation pointed out in his Twitter account that Mayta's message is an encouragement to the struggle of the Cuban people in defense of their Revolution and the right to live better without blockade.
The head of Bolivian diplomacy affirmed that the injustices that caused the attack on the Moncada barracks commanded by the historical leader, Fidel Castro, in Santiago de Cuba 70 years ago, are still valid today in the world.
He described the Cuban people as courageous, who have defended their Revolution for decades, besieged by the neighboring superpower that placed an economic, commercial and financial blockade on it. (Source: PL)
