Beirut, October 1 (RHC) -- The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (FDLP) in Lebanon ratified Saturday its solidarity with the people and government of Cuba.
During a meeting with the head of the mission of the Caribbean country here, Jorge Leon, the representative of the Palestinian movement, Ali Faysal, condemned the terrorist attack against the embassy of the island on U.S. soil.
On the occasion, the leader of the FDLP presented his congratulations for the results of the recent G-77 and China Summit, held recently in Havana.
For his part, the Cuban diplomat thanked the FDLP for its traditional support in denouncing and fighting against the blockade and the exclusion of Cuba from the list of countries that sponsor terrorism drawn up unilaterally by the U.S. government.
At the same time, León expressed Cuba's solidarity with the Palestinian cause to achieve the establishment of an independent State, with its capital in Jerusalem, its pre-1967 borders and the right of return of the refugees.
At the meeting, the Cuban official provided current information on the G-77 and China meeting held in mid-month in the island's capital. (Source: Prensa Latina)
