Cuban civil society expresses solidarity with Palestine

Havana, Nov 4 (RHC) Representatives of Cuban civil society expressed their support and solidarity with the Palestinian cause in a meeting with Akram Samhan, ambassador of that nation in Cuba.

Among the main demands of the Palestinian people, Samham pointed out the urgent entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the urgency of an international conference to act on the main cause of the conflict: the Israeli military occupation.

The ambassador thanked the solidarity of the people of Cuba and the organizations that constitute its civil society, and highlighted that the fundamental thing to achieve sovereignty is for Palestine to be united.

During the meeting the day before at the headquarters of the Palestinian Embassy in Havana, the Cuban Association of the United Nations presented official statements condemning the extermination policy applied by Israel against the Palestinian population for decades. (Source: Radio Reloj)
