Cuba and Dominica promote continuity of mutual collaboration
Havana, May 25 (RHC) The Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, analyzed with the Cuban ambassador Miguel Fraga the necessary actions to give continuity to cooperation projects in health and agriculture.
They also talked about the inclusion of Cuba on the US list of "sponsors of terrorism". Skerrit recalled that this week Dominica issued a call to reverse such decision, considering it undeserved and unfair.
Meanwhile, Fraga considered it an honor to meet with the Caribbean prime minister, and thanked for the opportunity to discuss crucial issues during the meeting and to celebrate 28 years of bilateral relations between both countries.
Earlier this week, Roseau demanded that Cuba be removed from the US list of countries sponsoring terrorism and urged Washington to lift all sanctions on the island and build normal relations between the two countries.
It also highlighted Cuban cooperation in the Caribbean in areas such as health, education and agriculture, after expressing solidarity with the Havana movement to condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
