Cuba attends Regional Seminar for Caribbean Parliaments

Havana, May 27 (RHC) The deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba Julio Emilio Morejón participated today in the Regional Seminar for Caribbean Parliaments, based in Trinidad and Tobago.

Morejón spoke with the head of the Trinidadian Senate, Nigel de Freitas; accompanied by Cuban ambassador Gustavo Daniel Veliz.

The Seminar, organized by the Trinidadian Parliament and the Interparliamentary Union, will meet until Wednesday.

The event will focus on climate change, its consequences, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in actions to mitigate it. It aims at disseminating the most recent data and advances; promote dialogue with experts and between parliaments; and highlighting good practices and regional experiences in addressing this issue.
