Vice President of the Cuban Jurists Union on a visit to Australia

 

Havana, April 14 (RHC) The vice president of the Cuban Jurists Union, Yamila González, has begun a working trip to Australia with the goal of enhancing bilateral cooperation in this field.

During her visit, González will be welcomed by the Ambassador for Gender Equality, Stephanie Copus Campbell, and will discuss with the academic staff of the University of Sydney.

Her schedule also encompasses meetings with legal professionals, attending events hosted by Griffith University, and a gathering with members of the Cuba-Australia Friendship Society to review the advancement of the Family Code in Cuba.

Furthermore, the Cuban legislator will engage in discussions with experts on matters related to women's rights, gender, and family, which are areas in which she has established herself as a professional. (Source: Prensa Latina)
