Havana, February 6 (RHC) -– Cuban Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas held talks on Thursday with Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Vasili Alekseyevich, who is paying a working visit to Cuba.
The two officials reiterated their countries' willingness to jointly work in the implementation of accords reached during the visit to Cuba by President Vladimir Putin last year, according to an official communiqué.
The meeting revealed the excellent bilateral relations between Moscow and Havana and the bonds of solidarity among the two nations.
Vasili Alekseyevich was accompanied by Russian ambassador to Havana Mijail L. Kamynin. On the Cuba side was Elio Rodriguez, director of the Europe and Canada office at the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
