Washington, April 14 (RHC) -- U.S. President Barack Obama has reportedly notified the U.S. Congress of his intention to remove Cuba from the State Department's list of States Sponsors of Terrorism.
According to the official Twitter account of the White House's National Security Council, Obama sent the notification to Congress on Tuesday.
Cuba's unfair inclusion on the controversial list has been considered by Havana as one of the main obstacles in the ongoing bilateral talks to re-establish diplomatic relations.
