Havana, May 16 (RHC-PL), -- Cuba is to host an international forum of entrepreneurs and leaders in information technology (Felti 2015) next week, reported sources from the organizing committee.
The countries participating at the meeting include Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Uruguay, Venezuela, Canada, Bolivia, France, Colombia and Spain.
The event, scheduled from May 18 to 23 in Havana, will be held at the Integrated Technology Research Center of the José Antonio Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute, and then will be moved to Varadero resort from May 21 to 22.
Information technology applied to business and education, e-government tools and the future of these technologies, among other topics of interest to software companies in Cuba and Latin America will be discussed at the forum.
Felti 2015 is a forum organized by the company DATYS (Development of Application and Technology Systems) which seeks to insert the Cuban software industry in the Latin American market, establish networks and foster collaboration and integration in the sector, as well as develop technological sovereignty.
