United Nations, September 26 (RHC)-- Cuban President Raul Castro has met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at the United Nations. The two heads of state exchanged greetings on the sidelines of the United Nations Summit for the Adoption of the Post-2015 Development Agenda.
According to sources from the Cuban delegation that attended the summit session this morning, the leaders of Cuba and China held an informal meeting at the conclusion of their speeches at the plenary session of the UN General Assembly.
Havana and Beijing have maintained strong political and economic ties for more than half a century.
