Havana, December 5 (RHC)-- The Cuban National Assembly's International Relations Committee issued a statement on Friday voicing solidarity with the people and Government of Venezuela and cautioning against what it termed “constant, systematic and increasing acts and statements of interference” in internal affairs of that sister nation.
The statement notes that Venezuela's electoral system has demonstrated “its legitimacy and transparency,” which has been recognized by international organizations and personalities from numerous nations.
It called on lawmakers and legislators from the region and the world to demand non-intervention in the internal affairs of Venezuela, cease attempts at destabilization, and urge respect for the electoral process and its results.
