Riyadh, December 22 (RHC)-- Cuban ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Enrique Enriquez, pointed to his country's relations with Riyadh and with the Arab world in general, to which Havana has always extended its solidarity.

During an interview with Saudi 24 Television, the diplomat recalled aspects of relations of the Cuban Revolution with Arab nations and addressed the ongoing process to normalize relations with the United States. He explained that although bilateral diplomatic relations were re-established and embassies reopened in Washington and Havana, the United States maintains its economic, commercial and financial blockade of the island.

Ambassador Enriquez also addressed the current update of Cuba's economy and the opportunities that the island offers in the area of international tourism.
